{"id":993,"date":"2023-08-18T21:31:39","date_gmt":"2023-08-18T21:31:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.liberiasp.gov.lr\/?p=993"},"modified":"2023-10-23T14:34:21","modified_gmt":"2023-10-23T14:34:21","slug":"government-to-person-g2p-payments","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.liberiasp.gov.lr\/?p=993","title":{"rendered":"Government to Person (G2P) payments"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Government to Person (\u201cG2P) payments reach poor people primarily through two channels: (i) social transfers and (ii) payments to current and retired workers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on available data, it is estimated to be a minimum of 170 million poor people receive a regular G2P payment globally. G2P payments and social safety net (SSN) initiatives overlap (see Figure 1).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both target poor people with programs aimed at boosting consumption and reducing vulnerability.
