Government, informal sector representatives, civil society and development partners met in Monrovia from 15 to 18 September 2026 to inform the update of Liberia’s National Social Protection Policy and Strategy. Their discussions focused on livelihood risks, gaps in support and practical measures for a more inclusive social protection system.
